Dr. Jordan Sloshower

Biography

Jordan Sloshower is a psychiatrist, researcher, and educator whose work focuses on the therapeutic applications of psychedelic medicines, particularly the novel treatments of integrated psychotherapy and healing modalities to promote holistic healing. He is currently a faculty member of the Yale Department of Psychiatry and co-founded the Yale Psychedelic Science Group, serving as an investigator and therapist in clinical trials for psilocybin-assisted therapy. Furthermore, Jordan is a clinical investigator for MAPS’ Expanded Access Program for MDMA-assisted therapy aimed at PTSD, and he serves as a trainer for the Usona Institute’s psilocybin facilitator training program. His commitment to ethical stewardship in psychedelic medicines is evident through his election to the Board of Directors of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association. Jordan has an interdisciplinary background shaped by previous training in medical anthropology and global health, coupled with deep interests in the ceremonial uses of plant medicines, Buddhist philosophy, and integrative approaches to wellness.
