Biography

Jorge Prozzi is a Satish Endowed Engineering Professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently a member of the National Academies of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, and Medicine Oversight Committee for the Federal Highway Administration's Bridge Pavement Research Program. Additionally, Prozzi has served as chair of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) International Activities Committee and has been involved in various technical committees addressing transportation research. He has actively contributed to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and serves as an associate editor for ASCE’s Journal of Infrastructure Systems and the WCTRS’s Journal Case Studies on Transport Policy. With a strong publication record, he has authored or co-authored 75 refereed journal publications, 136 conference proceedings, and 133 technical reports.
