Professor Dr. Jørgen Munch Andersen

Biography

Jørgen Munch-Andersen is a faculty member at Aalborg University, specializing in engineering and building technology. His research focuses on construction methods, building mechanics, design methods, risk analysis, stability issues, and load management. With extensive experience in both national and international projects, he has actively contributed to the development of innovative strategies for renovation and construction using sustainable materials. Jørgen has led several projects, including research on moisture management in construction with biogenic materials and the development of generic construction solutions that enhance sound insulation in multi-family housing. He has published numerous articles and actively participates in peer review and editorial work for academic journals in his field. His involvement extends to talks and presentations at various conferences, where he shares his insights on the latest trends and technologies in construction and engineering.
