Biography

Jörn Rothe studied economics and management at the Universities of Regensburg and Bonn in Germany, obtaining both an MSc and PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics. He was appointed as a Lecturer in Management at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Management in 1997 and served as Deputy Director starting in 2002. As a founding member of the Department of Management, he took on the role of Director of Studies within the Managerial Economics and Strategy Group. Currently, Dr. Rothe is the Programme Director for the MSc in Management and Strategy, and he plays a significant role in various committees within the Department and School. He coordinates the Business Management BSc programme as part of the International Programme at the University of London. His areas of expertise include economics, strategy, competition, information economy, managerial economics, industrial economics, and game theory.
