Biography

Jörn Rothe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He studied economics at the Universities of Regensburg and Bonn, Germany, and earned his MSc and PhD in Economics from LSE. Dr. Rothe was appointed as a Lecturer in Management at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Management in 1997 and served as Deputy Director in 2002. He was a founding member of the Department of Management and became the Director of Studies in the Managerial Economics and Strategy Group. Currently, he is the Programme Director for the MSc in Management and Strategy, and he serves on several committees within the department. Dr. Rothe coordinates the Business Management BSc programme for the International Programme of the University of London. His expertise includes topics in economics, competition strategy, information economy, managerial economics, industrial economics, and game theory.
