Biography

Josef Wideström is a full-time lecturer at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in interaction design, architecture, and visualization. His research primarily explores the relationships between physical and virtual spaces. Currently, he is involved in the development of VisLabs, a visualization center located at Universeum in Gothenburg. Since 1999, he has been engaged in various research projects at Chalmers University of Gothenburg, bringing his expertise in visualization and digital representation to the forefront. Wideström has managed the Chalmers VR CUBE for five years, contributing to more than 20 research projects. He holds a Master of Architecture from Chalmers, obtained in 1998, and has continued to work with his own architecture practice, applying empirical research in his teaching.
