Biography

Joseph Armanious, CPA, LL.M. Fisc., has been a lecturer in taxation at McGill University's John Molson School of Business since 2007. He has been practicing taxation since 2001 and serves as a tutorial series facilitator for the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program. His areas of expertise include corporate tax, corporate reorganizations, trusts, estate planning, and international tax. He obtained his Master of Laws with a focus on taxation from HEC Montréal, part of the Université de Montréal, and has received recognition for his work, including the Canadian Tax Foundation's Jean Potvin Award for his paper on aspects of Canadian taxation. In 2017, he was honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award from McGill University's School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, he received the Jeff K. Jutzi Award as a facilitator for the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.
