Biography

Joseph Blinick is a corporate commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, class actions, and bankruptcy insolvency matters. He has extensive motion, trial, and appellate experience and has appeared in various levels of courts in Ontario, British Columbia, and Yukon. Joseph is recognized for his strategic, results-driven approach and his ability to manage high-stakes, technically challenging disputes. His work includes advising on shareholder conflicts, contested transactions, regulatory investigations, and significant restructuring proceedings involving court-appointed officers and creditors. In addition to his litigation practice, Joseph serves as an Adjunct Lecturer and Mooting Advisor at the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Toronto Lawyers' Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the Canadian Ontario Bar Associations, and is a registered notary public.
