Individual work performance is the epicenter of my research interests. It is an essential concept in understanding the contributions individuals make to organizational success, a central topic for scholars and practitioners alike. My interest in this area is divided into complementary parts, exploring the interesting dimensionality of individual work performance. I investigate the types of behaviors individuals enact in the workplace that contribute to the achievement of individual, team, and organizational goals. My research answers questions related to the common unique antecedents of various forms of performance, as well as the consequences of performance at individual, group, and broader organizational levels. Through a holistic approach that combines laboratory and field studies, I aim to inform performance management, work design, and training practices. I am currently the Unit Coordinator for courses in Strategic Human Resource Management and Managing Jobs, Performance, and Wellbeing.
