Biography

Joseph DeJuan earned his PhD in Economics and an MS in Statistics from North Carolina State University. He also holds a BSc from De La Salle University and an MSc in Policy Economics from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. His research and teaching interests focus on Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Applied Econometrics. At the University of Waterloo, he teaches Macroeconomics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. From 2006 to 2011, he served as the Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Economics. In 2015, he was a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Northeastern University.
