Joseph Lifton is a lecturer in Mechatronics at the University of Southampton. He completed his PhD at the University of Southampton in 2015. Following his PhD, Joseph lectured in Engineering Design at the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus from 2015 to 2018. Joseph’s research interests include the inspection and measurement of geometrically complex engineering components, intelligent tomographic scanning techniques, advanced 3D image processing algorithms, and the development of high-energy, high-resolution X-ray computed tomography for the measurement and inspection of large dense objects.
