Joseph Mertz is a Teaching Professor and Director of the undergraduate Information Systems Program at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy and the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His teaching emphasizes the development of technical and professional leadership skills through technology development.
