Biography

Joseph Rispoli is an Associate Professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his BSEE and BSCompE from the University of Virginia in 2002, and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2015. His research interests focus on novel hardware methodologies for magnetic resonance imaging, specifically anatomical-tailored radiofrequency coil designs and high-field studies. His work also includes in vivo spectroscopy utilizing multiple NMR-active nuclei, as well as electromagnetic modeling to enhance patient safety and design evaluation.
