Biography

Josette Dijkhuizen is an endowed professor specializing in sustainable employability for entrepreneurs at Tilburg University. She connects scientific research to practical applications in the field of entrepreneurship, leveraging her knowledge and extensive network to support business and personal development for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs alike. With a focus on corporate entrepreneurship and social women entrepreneurship, she delves into the psychological aspects of these fields. Josette has worked as a consultant, trainer, and speaker in educational institutions and corporations, extending her passion for entrepreneurship through books, scientific papers, and presentations. She has served as the UN Women’s Representative for the Netherlands and is the founder of the Krachtbedrijf Foundation, which assists survivors of violence in starting their own businesses. Josette has received several national and international awards for her work in this area. She actively engages in teaching, giving lectures, workshops, and training globally since establishing her own company in 2005. She enjoys meeting people from diverse cultures and values the collaboration between academic and practical domains.
