Biography

Josh Dorrough has over 20 years of experience in biodiversity conservation management research. He is currently a Senior Research Scientist in the Conservation Restoration Science Branch at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water. Additionally, he serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Fenner School of Environment and Society at the Australian National University. Josh completed his PhD at the Australian National University in 2002 and has worked as a research scientist at the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research in Victoria and as a Visiting Fellow at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems. His work focuses on biodiversity conservation and management, with a strong emphasis on ecological restoration.
