Dr. Joshua Kalla

Biography

Josh Kalla is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Yale University, with a secondary appointment in Statistics and Data Science. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2018. His research primarily focuses on political persuasion, prejudice reduction, and decision-making among voters and political elites, using randomized field experiments as a methodological approach. He has contributed to the field through various publications and interviews, addressing critical issues in American politics and quantitative methods.
