Biography

Joshua Clair Snyder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology, and Department of Cell Biology at Duke University. He is also a member of the Duke Cancer Institute, specializing in cancer initiation and cell behavior. His research focuses on understanding how cancer cells adapt and grow in response to diagnoses, utilizing models and tools for preclinical and translational research. Snyder has a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, obtained in 2009. His lab is committed to advancing knowledge in cancer biology and therapeutic targeting, having contributed to significant grants from the National Cancer Institute and other organizations to explore various aspects of cancer, including immune responses and tumor heterogeneity.
