Biography

Joyal Miranda is an Associate Professor at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University, a position he has held since 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from Toronto Metropolitan University and pursued a Master of Nursing (MN) and PhD at the University of Toronto. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral research at the University of Montreal. He is also involved as a co-investigator in Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)-funded studies that examine patients’ preferences regarding health prevention interventions.
