Biography

Joydeep Ghosh is the Schlumberger Centennial Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin. He joined the faculty in 1988 after receiving his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. Ghosh founded and directs the Intelligent Data Exploration and Analysis Lab (IDEAL) and has taught graduate courses on data mining and web analytics.
