Juan Miró is a Professor at the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin, where he specializes in construction, architectural urban design, and Mexican architecture. He was born in Barcelona and obtained his professional degree from the Escuela de Arquitectura at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has been named a Distinguished Professor by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture and is a member of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers at the University of Texas at Austin. His teaching accolades include the Texas Excellence Teaching Award and the ACSA New Faculty Teaching Award.
