Dr. Juan Mondragon Quintana

Biography

Juan Carlos Mondragon Quintana is a committed academic and researcher with expertise in multicultural environments and business policy fields. He holds a PhD in Global Political Economy from the University of Bristol and has Master's degrees in Public Administration from Harvard University and Public Policy from Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales in Mexico. Juan Carlos completed his BSc in Political Science and Public Administration at Universidad Iberoamericana. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Economy Francesco Academy. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer in International Business Policy at the Business School of the University of Bristol and is also the Programme Director for the BSc in International Business Management. His research interests revolve around global capitalism, ethical and policy underpinnings, political economy, innovation systems, and the comparative study of capitalisms with a focus on Latin America. He is especially interested in the impact of multinational companies on innovation and economic development, as well as public management from a policy perspective in emerging markets. Juan Carlos has extensive teaching experience, covering introductory economics, international political economy, and business development, effectively supporting international students in developing academic writing skills.
