Biography

Judith Ledlee is the Executive Director of Design Climate and an Executive in Residence at the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. With a passion for cleantech innovation and commercialization, Judith has developed her expertise through her doctoral studies at Duke University. Her research primarily focused on emerging water treatment technologies. Following her graduation, she co-founded a startup dedicated to hydraulic fracturing wastewater recycling. She continued her career in the cleantech field, gaining valuable experience in the water industry through roles at companies like Evoqua (now Dupont), Xylem, Black & Veatch, and ZwitterCo. Judith is committed to fostering entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial activities and is excited to return to Duke to create opportunities for a new generation of students to develop innovations that address pressing climate challenges.
