My experimental research interests cover a broad range of interdisciplinary fields including genomics, biochemistry, and public health. As a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I aim to integrate my expertise in statistical data science with practical applications in health monitoring and engineering. I have supervised numerous PhD and Master’s level projects and have established collaborations with multiple institutions. Furthermore, my research heavily focuses on methodological advancements in spatial statistics and modelling uncertainty in high-throughput measurement processes. I lead various teams addressing complex data challenges and am committed to enhancing learning experiences for students in applied statistics. My professional journey includes tenure at Queen’s University, Canada, and the University of California, Berkeley. I have also developed and contributed to various innovative tools aimed at improving data analysis and methodological quality across diverse fields.
