Dr. Julian Bosco

Biography

Julian Joseph Bosco completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2002 at the University of New South Wales. He trained in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at major hospitals including Westmead and Royal Melbourne from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, he was awarded Fellowships by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Dr. Bosco has held consultant positions at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Alfred Hospitals, specializing as an Immunologist and Allergist at Epworth Allergy Specialists and as an Immunopathologist at Alfred Pathology. He completed his PhD focusing on the immunoregulatory properties of CD52 at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. His research interests include autoantibody-associated autoimmune diseases, allergic diseases, and immunodeficiency. Dr. Bosco has also engaged in multiple collaborative projects in the field, contributing to studies addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to health and well-being. He is actively involved in various research projects, including profiling immune responses and establishing research centers that target high-risk populations.
