Dr. Julian Lum

Biography

Julian Lum is a professor at the University of Victoria, specializing in Biochemistry. His research focuses on immunometabolism and the metabolic roles of autophagy in cancer T cells. He employs a top-down approach, studying primary human biospecimens to gain insights into the direct mechanisms of action using cell line and murine models. His primary goal is to translate findings into interventions applied in the context of cancer immunotherapy, particularly targeting ovarian and prostate cancers.
