Biography

Julian Wang is a Professor and Graduate Programs Officer in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Penn State University. With a focus on building illumination systems, his research encompasses various innovative areas, including lighting daylighting, smart materials, healthcare design, bio-inspired design, and sustainable built environments. He holds a Doctorate in Architecture/Building Technology from Texas A&M University and has contributed significantly to the field through teaching and directed research.
