Dr. Juliana Castedo

Biography

Juliana Castedo is an Assistant Professor in the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, specializing in Family Medicine. She obtained her medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her Family Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Castedo practices full-spectrum primary care, including prenatal care, at the Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center, where she also supervises residents as the residency site director. She has a strong passion for providing reproductive health care and cares for Spanish-speaking patients and families as an approved bilingual provider. Dr. Castedo is actively involved in research projects, including those focused on Point-of-Care Ultrasound in Primary Care. Her work is backed by a variety of grants from organizations such as the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. She has received various academic awards, including the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement and the John Sophia Zaslow Prize during her time at Geisel. Her dedication to mentoring and education continues to play a significant role in her career.
