Biography

Julie Banting is the Director of Career Development at Queen's Law. She has a passion for career development and believes that each student's story is unique and interesting. Julie completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master of Industrial Relations at Queen's. She has extensive experience working in human resources in Toronto, and later completed a Master of Education in Counseling at the University of Toronto. Over the past 17 years, Julie has worked in career centres across several institutions, including the University of Toronto, UTSC, and the Smith School of Business. Since joining the Career Development Office at Queen's Law in 2012, she has provided customized support to students, emphasizing a holistic approach to career development. In her spare time, Julie enjoys hiking with her Irish Terriers.
