Julie Koudys is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Applied Disability Studies at Brock University, Ontario, Canada. A registered psychologist and behavior analyst, she has over 20 years of experience working with children and youth facing neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disorders, and mental health challenges. Dr. Koudys is dedicated to the integration of research and practice, collaborating with community partners to support clinical research and evidence-based practices. She has supervised numerous graduate students and published various research articles and book chapters. Koudys has also presented over 100 papers and workshops at national and international conferences. She has served as an appointed member of the Government of Ontario's Clinical Expert Committee for the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the Autism Advisory Panel for the Ontario Autism Program. In addition, Dr. Koudys has chaired the Ontario Scientific Expert Taskforce on Treatment for ASD and was honored with the 2017 Research Award from the Ontario Association for Behavior Analysis (ONTABA) and the 2018 President's Service Excellence Award from ONTABA. Currently, she serves as the International Representative on the Board of Directors for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), focusing on enhancing supervision skills and behavior analytic service provision using evidence-based approaches.
