Dr. Julie Lin

Biography

Julie Lin, DPM, specializes in Podiatry and Orthopedics at NYU Langone Health. With a dedication to helping patients achieve optimal foot and ankle health, she treats a wide range of conditions including sprains, stress fractures, plantar fasciitis, and bunions. Her expertise includes both nonsurgical and surgical treatments, particularly for severe injuries requiring immediate intervention. Dr. Lin assesses and performs elective reconstructive surgeries and has received the highest level of training in her field. She is a board-certified member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board-qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. With a background in biomedical engineering and a dual advanced degree, Dr. Lin has a strong passion for biomechanics and the complexity of human movement. She completed her podiatric medical education at Temple University and served as chief resident during her surgical residency. Furthering her training, she completed a fellowship focused on wound care and limb salvage. Dr. Lin is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to restore her patients’ function and alleviate pain, valuing the trust they place in her expertise.
