Biography

Julie Shackford-Bradley is a lecturer at UC Berkeley Law and co-founder of the Restorative Justice Center at the University of California, Berkeley. With over 15 years of experience in teaching Global Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies, her research primarily focuses on traditional community-based justice in Kenya and Uganda, examining the intersections of restorative justice, human rights, and social change around the world. She collaborates with partners to construct policies that offer restorative responses to workplace harms, conduct violations, and instances of sexual harm.
