Biography

Julie Vadboncoeur is an ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis. Her areas of expertise include the management and treatment of uveitis in both adult and pediatric patients. As an Assistant Professor, she actively participates in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows in ophthalmology. Vadboncoeur completed a master's degree with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics and is involved in research with local, national, and multicenter clinical studies. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Uveitis Society (AUS), and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS). Vadboncoeur completed her medical studies and residency in ophthalmology at Université de Montréal and later completed a fellowship in uveitis and ocular immunology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Since 2019, she has been practicing at the Université de Montréal Eye Center at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.
