Biography

Julie Zimmerman is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at Yale University, with additional appointments in the School of the Environment and Epidemiology (Environmental Health Sciences). Her research interests include the application of green chemistry and green engineering principles in the innovative design of products, processes, and systems, as well as developing water treatment technologies and assessing benign alternative chemicals.
