Dr. Juliette Kendall

Biography

Juliette Kendall is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Dentistry at the University of Manchester. She is actively involved in teaching and scholarship, leading the Research Methods unit and coordinating various roles within the division. Her responsibilities include managing admissions processes and coordinating recruitment activities for undergraduate programs, engaging with over a thousand applicants annually. Kendall's research interests lie primarily in the application of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and admissions, along with qualitative research focusing on the transition of undergraduate Dentistry students into clinical environments. Her extensive background includes evaluating innovative healthcare provisions funded by the Department of Health. Additionally, she takes on external commitments as a Magistrate for Greater Manchester. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Higher Education from the University of Manchester, along with a Master's degree in Social Research and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Astronomy from the University of Plymouth. With a methodological expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, she contributes to the academic community by delivering systematic reviews and leading educational initiatives that align with global sustainable development goals.
