Biography

Dr. Julius Ebinu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Queen's University. He graduated from the University of Calgary medical school and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Alberta. Dr. Ebinu completed his residency at the University of Toronto and undertook a Clinical Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology Skull Base Neurosurgery. He further advanced his training with a fellowship at the University of Miami, specializing in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. Dr. Ebinu previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, Davis. His research interests focus on functional recovery from spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, as well as understanding the biology of central nervous system tumors.
