Biography

Vincent Lim Jun Wee is a Lecturer at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He has a Master of Public Health from the National University of Singapore and extensive nursing experience spanning over a decade. Lim began his career in a Neurology/Neurosurgery ward, focusing on the care of patients with neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Epilepsy, and Dementia. He subsequently enhanced his clinical expertise by working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, managing critically ill patients. As a Community Nurse with the Population Health Integrated Care Office, he was responsible for managing residents with chronic diseases, health monitoring, and coordinating care within the community. His commitment to health promotion in managing chronic diseases led him to develop a keen interest in public health education, emphasizing preventive care and community-based interventions. Lim is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of nursing professionals who are compassionate and equipped to meet the healthcare needs of diverse communities.
