Biography

Jun Zheng is a distinguished legal professional with extensive expertise in international law and comparative arbitration. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of MEI & HAO SARL, a Swiss legal tax firm specializing in cross-border transactions. Originally from China, Dr. Zheng studied law at Wuhan University and later earned his PhD in law from the University of Fribourg. His career began as a legal counsel at international law firms in Shanghai and Zurich, where he worked as a legal advisor at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law. Dr. Zheng has provided legal opinions and advice to courts, governments, and international organizations, focusing on complex cross-border transaction cases. His research interests encompass international commercial disputes, international investment law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, international tax planning, Swiss immigration law, and international family inheritance law. In addition to his scholarly work, he has published several academic books and articles and frequently speaks at conferences and forums. He is fluent in Chinese, English, and French. Zheng is a member of several professional organizations, including the Swiss Arbitration Association and the European Association of Private International Law.
