Dr. Junaid Razzak

Biography

Dr. Junaid Razzak is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He has dedicated his career to improving emergency medical services and trauma care, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. His research interests include trauma epidemiology, emergency care systems, and the utilization of telemedicine for pediatric emergencies. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from ambulance-based telemedicine to the epidemiological characteristics of trauma and injury in Pakistan. With an extensive background in clinical practice and research, he also plays a crucial role in developing educational interventions to enhance the capacity of healthcare workers in emergency preparedness. Previously a principal investigator for several notable studies funded by national and international organizations, he continues to advance the field of emergency medicine through innovative research and training initiatives.
