Biography

Junming Ho is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and an ARC Future Fellow. He graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science with Honors and received his PhD from the Australian National University. He has held prestigious positions, including an A*STAR International Research Fellow and a research scientist at Yale University. Since joining UNSW in 2017, he has focused on computational chemistry, developing applications to understand and predict molecular behavior. His research interests include solvent modeling, hybrid quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics methods, and computer-aided drug design. He is also committed to chemical education and has developed new laboratory resources to aid learning.
