Biography

Junsheng Chen received his Ph.D. degree in 2018 from Lund University. He then completed postdoctoral work at the University of Copenhagen. From 2019 to 2020, he worked on developing control components for semiconductor devices at Bombardier. Currently, he serves as an assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on exploring the functions underlying photophysical processes in fluorescent nanomaterials and time-resolved optical spectroscopies. He is also involved in developing biocompatible organic fluorescent nanomaterials for bioimaging and methods for advanced biomedical imaging instrumentation.
