Biography

Junteng Zheng is a Lecturer in Global Law, specializing in public international law. His research spans several fields including international law-making, international dispute settlement, international human rights law, international criminal law, and the law of international responsibility. He is particularly interested in the theoretical generalist character of international legal scholarship. Junteng has served as a legal assistant to bodies of the International Law Commission at the United Nations and has clerked for Justice Edwin Cameron at the Constitutional Court of South Africa. He holds a Ph.D. in International Law (summa cum laude, Geneva Graduate Institute), a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School, a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws from Renmin University of China. He is a member of the New York Bar.
