Biography

Junzhe joined the Adam Smith Business School as a Senior Lecturer in International Business in February 2020. He previously worked at the University of Sheffield in the UK and Tongji University in China. Junzhe holds a PhD in Management Studies and an MSc in Management with Distinction from the University of Glasgow. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Research Associate at the Scottish Centre for China Research. Additionally, he acts as the General Secretary of the China-UK Business Research Association and holds a visiting professorship at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. From 2017 to 2019, Junzhe served as the Co-Chair for the International Business/International Management Track at the British Academy of Management Conference. His research interests focus on international decision-making, strategic decision-making, the internationalization of Chinese SMEs, and the cultural studies surrounding these areas. Notable publications include research in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics and the International Business Review. Junzhe is actively involved in supervising PhD researchers in related fields and has extensive experience teaching modules on international business and strategic management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
