Biography

Justice Ogoroh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law and Business at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University. He joined TMU in July 2021 after completing his Ph.D. at the Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, focusing on copyright law reform challenges in Canada's digital landscape. Justice also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in the United States and another LL.M. from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Benin in Nigeria. Prior to his academic career, he gained experience in law practice and project management in Nigeria, dealing with significant ICT projects and contributing to health and education interventions. His research interests include Intellectual Property Law, Emerging Technology, and the intersection of law, business, and technology/innovation. Justice has presented papers at various conferences and has contributions in publications related to copyright law in Nigeria and Canada.
