Biography

Justin Chee is a urological surgeon dedicated to excellence in reconstructive surgery of the genitourinary system. His special interests include the surgical management of urethral stricture disease, prosthetic urology, male urinary incontinence, and erectile dysfunction. Renowned for his innovation and collaboration, Justin takes a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to ensure patients achieve the best possible outcomes. He has travelled extensively to enhance his technical and clinical skills, training with leaders in the field and attending live surgery workshops in countries including India, Italy, Serbia, the UK, Germany, Qatar, and the USA. Justin has been privileged to serve as a presenter and invited speaker at both national and international meetings, including the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU). He has performed live surgery workshops in various countries, such as Australia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Kuwait, Turkey, and the Solomon Islands. Justin is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Urology in the Detroit Medical Centre, Detroit, USA, and has held a position at the University of Belgrade, School of Medicine, Department of Urology, Belgrade, Serbia. He is the founding faculty of the International Society of Reconstructive Urology (ISORU) and currently leads the Special Advisory Group on Reconstruction & Pediatric Urology at the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ). He actively participates in several prestigious organizations, including the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ). Justin’s expertise and research interests align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically in areas related to urology, urethral stricture disease, prosthetic urology, male urinary incontinence, and erectile dysfunction.
