Biography

Justine Potts is a Junior Research Fellow in Classics at St John's College, University of Oxford. She holds a Master of Arts (MA), a Master of Studies (MSt), and a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from the University of Oxford and has also studied at the University of Bologna. Justine's research focuses on religious intellectual history in the ancient world, with a particular emphasis on the Roman Empire. Currently, her research project examines the rise of monotheism in the Roman Empire and ancient South Arabia from a comparative perspective. Justine teaches a variety of subjects related to Roman History and the Religions of the Greek and Roman World, catering to students in Classics, CAAH, and AMH.
