Biography

Kabir Peay is a Professor in the Department of Biology and the Department of Earth System Science at Stanford University. He serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Education and is the Director of the Earth Systems Program. Peay completed his PhD in Environmental Science, Policy and Management at the University of California, Berkeley in 2008, after earning his Master of Environmental Science degree from the Yale School of Forestry in 2003 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997. He has a strong academic background, having undertaken postdoctoral training at the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University.
