Biography

Professor Tan Kai Meng graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1999 and subsequently joined the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as an Assistant Professor. His research interest focuses on representation theory, particularly in relation to symmetric groups and associated algebras. He served as the Assistant Head (Teaching) of the Department of Mathematics from January 2019 until June 2023.
