Biography

Kaitlin Colleen Bevers is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Duke University and a member of the Duke Cancer Institute. She completed her Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and was previously a Surgical Oncology Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Bevers underwent her General Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado Denver, where she focused on surgical oncology. She earned her M.D. at Wayne State University and her B.S. at the University of Michigan. Dr. Bevers is engaged in significant research concerning thoracic surgery and the implementation of adjuvant immunotherapy for lung cancer, having authored publications on foundational successes and future directions in this field.
