Dr. Kal Raustiala

Biography

Kal Raustiala is a Distinguished Professor at UCLA Law, where he also serves as the Director of the UCLA Ronald W. Burkle Center for International Relations and the International Comparative Law Program. He focuses on international law, international relations, and intellectual property. His recent publications include articles in renowned journals and books that address issues such as global governance and innovation in the context of intellectual property law. Raustiala previously held positions at Yale, Harvard, and Princeton, and he was a fellow at the Brookings Institution. An active contributor to media and professional organizations, he has served as Vice President of the American Society of International Law.
