Dr. Kanishka Rajput

Biography

Kanishka Rajput is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine. He graduated from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Yale University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His clinical practice focuses on interventional pain procedures for a wide range of chronic pain syndromes, both malignant and non-malignant. He employs a multidisciplinary approach to pain management, utilizing non-opioid analgesics, physical therapy, and psychological support. Dr. Rajput is actively involved in clinical research, concentrating on the study of chronic post-surgical pain and developing strategies to reduce perioperative opioid consumption by using multi-modal analgesics to improve patient outcomes after interventional pain procedures. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Society for Education in Anesthesia. He has received recognition for his contributions to research and has a strong commitment to improving pain management.
